The Play Date Cafe Color Challenge - Plum

So excited to do my first PDCC!

Here is the challenge

And here is my take on it.

I must have been sub-consciously inspired by the layout
of the photo, because looking at the images side by side
they are almost identical in layout.

TOTALLY NOT PLANNED!

Hope you have enjoyed this little challenge.
I hope to play along most weeks.

PTI Make it Monday Challenge

Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday challenge #86 was a lot of fun.
Click on the video below for the scoop on what this week's challenge is all about.
Now here is my take on the challenge. I call it "Airmail." Mainly because that is what is stamped on the front and it just sounds cool. =)

I do not have a PTI border die YET so I thought I would be creative and
try using the postage stamp die that coordinates with this stamp set.
I really like how it turned out.
Really, the whole idea of not forgetting the inside of your card should
be a no brainer, but I do it ALL the time.
How nice to receive a card and open it up just to find more
homemade art and thought.
Thanks PTI for a great challenge!

Fancy Baby Card Unity Challenge - Pennants & Banners

I really didn't know what this card was going to be
when I first started
Don't you just love when that happens?!
(hint of sarcasm)

I have had this MME paper for a while. (see supply list below)
I have used it once not intending for it to be
a baby theme, but that is what it
looked like when I was finished.

So I thought I would give the paper another try
and see what happened.
Well baby theme happened again but this time
I was O.K. with that!

First I started with a plain white background.
I really new I wanted to use my Unity Better with Love Stamp Set.
AND...because I just love to make my own patterned paper
I knew this stamp set would be perfect.

After that everything just fell into place!

Come To Bethlehem Christmas Card

I have a holiday boutique I am doing in November and I have just started to sit down and create all the crafty things I want to sell.
Here is my first set of 10 Christmas Cards

I found a bottle of Folk Art Pearl Glaze that I used for the snow flakes.
I really like how it came out. Not sure if they still sell it but worth a looksy.
My new fave thing to do is stamp and then emboss as you can see.
I knew all the supplies I wanted to use for my cards but it took me forever to get it all put together, till it dawned on me. Stamp the image and then emboss over it! Who woulda thunk it? Well me after about 3hrs and sleeping on it. HAHAHA!
